UUFD Response to Ferguson

Our hearts go out to the residents of Ferguson. As Unitarians with a faith in the inherit worth and dignity of every human being, we stand in solidarity with those who are living with pain in Ferguson. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “An injustice any where is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Here at UUFD we work with many community partners to promote peace and justice for all the residents of our community. For a link to the UUA Standing on the Side of Love web page for Ferguson and Beyond: Next Steps for Justice, click here. Visit it and read about some of the actions you can engage in to stand in solidarity with those who are living in Ferguson, and all of those who suffer and live in fear because of the color of their skin. May we all work together to bend the arch of history closer toward justice.
