Our Mission
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb is a liberal religious community of seekers. In our quest for truth and justice, we share understandings gleaned from our lives and experiences. We unite to nurture in all the divine seed that furthers the work of creation. We work for balance, wisdom, peace, hope and love in our families, congregation, communities and the world around us.

Dine With Your UUFD Family

who spend our days on the NIU campus invite you to join us
for lunch on April 11 and May 6. Bring your lunch from home
or buy food at Subway, Huskies Hub, or the Blackhawk.
March's meeting will be in the Blackhawk East dining
room, with all others in the Blackhawk West. Both privatedining rooms are across from the cash registers at the Blackhawk
Food Court in the basement of the Holmes Student Center.
Help Keep Infants And Babies Warm & Snuggly
Do you knit, crochet or quilt? A call has gone out to area churches for contributions to a project through the
DeKalb County Health Department's program for women, infants and children. The program provides layettes
for the newborn babies of low-income parents. If you are crafty, please consider contributing a knitted,
crocheted or quilted baby blanket or sweater.
If you aren't crafty, but would like to contribute, the program also needs cloth diapers and pins; washcloths; and newborn onesies, gowns and sleepers.
If you would like to contribute, please see, call or email Linda Matuszewski (815-762-9263, or ljmatuszewski@hotmail.com). You will need to get your items to her by April 27, and she will deliver them to the church that is coordinating the program.
