RE Field Trip to Oaken Acres Wildlife Center

Our Rainbow Kids' "Violet Promise" is to value our connection to all of life and to all living things.

 In keeping with this promise, our UUFD kids will be making paper mache enrichment balls that they will bring to the baby raccoons at Oaken Acres Wildlife Center during their Baby Season Open House Celebration. There the balls will be filled with food pellets so the raccoons have a fun way to forage for their food. Kids and their families will also be able to see other animal babies ready for release back into the wild. And a Monarch Butterfuly Release is also featured at 2:30 PM.
