UU Usables -- Rummage and Book Sale
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb (UUFD) is pleased to annnounce its two-day Rummage and Used Book Sale on Friday, August 19 from 9 to 6, and Saturday, August 20, from 9 to 1. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Hope Haven, DeKalb’s only homeless shelter. As usual, there will be baked goods and socializing. A fun event for all!
Donations for the sale are welcome, but no clothes, TVs, or shoes. There are two ways to donate:
1. Drop off your usables in the church basement during the following times that the church building is open:
Friday, August 12, 10AM to 3PM (during church office hours) and 5:30-6:30PM (during church activities)
Sunday, August 14, 9:30 AM to 1 (during service and other church activities)
Wednesday, August 17 9AM to 2PM (during church office hours)
Thursday, August 18, 6PM to 9PM (during set-up for the sale)
2. We have limited means for picking up donations too large or heavy for you to transport yourself. Please contact Dan Kenny (815-793-0950) to request a pick up on Thursday afternoon, August 18,
