The Flaming Chalice: The Symbol of Unitarian Universalist Faith
The symbol of Unitarian Universalism and the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is a flame within a chalice (a cup with a stem and foot). The design of the current official UUA logo is intended to offer a visual representation of a modern and dynamic faith. Many UU congregations, including UUFD, create their own flaming chalice design as a symbol of their unique UU community.
